big gap between threshold and laminate

Husband made a booboo when laying the laminate in our kitchen (first time doing this, to be fair) - forgot to take the threshold up and fitted the floor with a gap from existing threshold to laminate which means fitting a new threshold wouldn't be wide enough to cover the gap. Is there something we can do to remedy this or somehow fill in the gap with to cover with a threshold of sorts? On one end it's a threshold to another laminate floor and the other end is to a doorframe.

Or maybe somewhere that sells extra wide thresholds!!

edit: have found some extra wide ones but what to do about gap between doorframe and floor?

Your supposed to undercut the door frame and lay the laminate under it, if the extra wide profile won't cover the gap then your best option is to use coloured sealant in the gap and hope that you don't get any expansion issues in the future.
