Just had a granny flat built at super slow speed, now the BIG problem I have is when I did the first fix and ran all the cables I somehow managed to pick up an old roll of cable and so when I've just got around to connecting everything up I discover it's half red/black half blue/brown the walls are painted carpet down and a very small roof space to work in plus extra wood up there since I first ran the cables which all equals a huge job to rip it back out, am I completly stuffed or if everything is correctly sleeved would it be passed?

i wouldnt worry, sleeve them up and youve covered yourself by identifying them. you could put mixed colours sticker on CU and suppose you could note it as a slight departure on the EIC but i think this is going over the top.

im all for doing things correctly but youve got to be reasonable, and ripping down walls and decor for the sake of it isnt!

i cant see as there's anyway you can ever have any comeback on this IMHO as long as you sleeve them.
