Do they make add ons for CU's? Mine is full up and we are soon to be doing the front room up and I would like a few extra sockets.

The trouble is when I look at the existing sockets there is only one cable going to them all so the wiring is a little fruity.

One room at once could a new ring be installed just accomadating the 3/4 double sockets in the front room and then added to later for other rooms if required?

Which one have you got? - a piccy would help.

Sockets having only one cable at each outlet sounds indeed fruity...unless you have 100's of radials at the board and that is why it is full-up. Sounds like you need a rewire.
