I have a hot water problem that I can't make sense of.
First the stats:
Its a combi boiler in the kitchen
Were in a 1st floor flat
Water pressure is not a problem, we have the stop cock value on about 1/2 a turn, any more then that and water goes everywhere.
The problem.
Hot water int he bathroom seems to be non-existent, when it does finally come through it goes cold again very quick. The bathroom is about 10m from the boiler on the same floor. The water in the kitchen is very hot along with the toilet (next to the kitchen).
At first I thought it was the fact that the kitchen is over a communal hall way with no heating and the pipes were just very cold but this went out the window when the water went cold after being hot for a few seconds.
I just have no idea where that amount of heat could be going in such a short distance.
Any advice would be great.
Chris
