Looking for a smarter way to manage your heating this winter? We’ve been testing the new Aqara Radiator Thermostat W600 to see how quiet, accurate and easy it is to use around the home. Click here read our review.
If it is a combi boiler you will have to use the filling loop(silver 15mm braid) under the boiler,to fill the radiators and pressurise the system.See manual, but usually set at 1 bar, dial should be inside front casing
If it's a gravity-fed system, it could be that when you bled the radiators you were actually letting air in instead of out. We had this with our system. What happens apparently (according to my brother in law who is a plumber) is that you get a reverse flow of hot water up to the header tank, which is replaced by air sucked in through the bleed valve when you open it. Check your header tank - is the water hot?
You need to bleed the radiators when the pump isn't running (ie turn the system off), but I don't know what the cure for the reverse flow problem is - perhaps someone else can help?
