Can anyone advise if the valve in the attached picture can be replaced?

Yes, un-screw the nut holding it in.

Thanks Gas2Air, would that be the large paint-spattered outer nut or the smaller, inner one around the bleed screw? Also, do you think that the replacement valve is a standard size? Thanks again.
