Hi folks,

I have recently installed vertical radiator in my living room.. have bled the radiators properly but noticed that it doesn't heat up properly.. have balanced the radiators too..

The bleed valve is at the top left, thermo is on the left too and TRV is installed on the right..

My question is, does the radiator need to have t
2 bleed valves on each side.. it's a double panel radiator but only came with one and I assumed that's how it is.

Im suspecting the right side might also need to be bled which is why it's not getting as hot as it should be..

Please advise.

Your radiator may need the flow and return to be connected into specific inlet ports, or it will not heat properly.

Some Designer vertical rads can take days/weeks for all the air pockets to come out and the rad to heat evenly all over. Try turning all rads off with just that one on for a few hours and see if it shift it

Thanks folks.. when you say, Turning others off.. is it both the thermostat and trv off?

If the rad is designed for both horizontal and vertical use there may be a knockout just inside the valve holes to allow vertical use.
