Hi folks

I'm just going round bleeding the air from all my radiators.
But on one of them, the nut/valve seems to be quite round. I'm gonna get a new key, but if that doesn't work, I'm stuck with a half full rad.

Has anyone come accross this before and figured out a way to loosen it?
I'm not sure if i can cut a small enough slot in it, for a screwdriver. But even then, I run the risk of damaging it if it snaps.

thanks in advance.

they don't have the slot in them, the rads are old and the key pretty much just goes round it.

Try tapping a small socket over it, failing that, i have,in the past, drilled a small hole near the top,and used a self tapper to seal.
