Some of the radiators in my house have been replaced with radiators that do not have the usual end valves that you bleed the radiators from. According the the previous owner [ who put in the radiators] you bleed them through a little valve on the back face of the radiator [next to the wall] but i cannot find any way to bleed the radiator from this valve as its really small and no obvious way to turn it.
:?:
Does anyone know anything of this type of system????

You need a radiator bleed valve key!
These

will fit any rear-valve convector rad with a pair of pliers, or there are these if the gap is less than an inch or so:
