Blending new concrete with old

I recently repaired some patches of an old concrete garden path that had crumbled away, using a bag of that diy mix-it-yourself concrete mix. I probably used too much cement because the new areas are very light compared to the rest of the path, which is a dirty greyish colour. Can anyone suggest something to apply to the new areas to 'age' them down to blend in with the old? Obviously I could rub dirt into them but I'm thinking there may be something more effective than that. Any ideas anyone?
Many thanks
