Good afternoon all,
Our drive was block paved approx 10 yrs ago and the company who did it really did do a great job, but ants having been slowly pushing the sand out in one corner and the blocks, approx 8 off have started to sink, they've dropped approx 20mm. I have a spare bag of sand and reckon I can get them out without damage but the question is, how much higher do I fill the area with sand above the base of the surrounding blocks, I can compact it with a home made "block on a stick", but I'm worried that when compacting with all the "new" blocks put back I don't end up level with the rest of the drive.
So any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks from Chris
