My brother has asked do I want his old car.
Its the same as this but fine about 120000 miles.

Hes had it from New full service history and top spec.

We buy any car have offered him just over 9 grand. I can have it for same price not sure exactly if its closer to 10 or 9 grand.

Snap his hand off or steer clear.

Hea loves his cars, so will think its a great car. Is it?

It’s okay if you like it and it suits your needs. Can you afford the running costs/repairs/servicing?

I wouldn’t keep it thst long and many sell at the end of the summer. Hopefully making something out of it.

There’s your answer then. Don't buy what you don't like just because it’s 'cheap'.

Spending £9 or £10k on something you don’t like for 4 or 5 months seems a tad foolish to me. You could be making an expensive mistake. Why not buy something you do like and keep it longer?

Gotta be mad spending that much money on a car with zero warranty or legal rights.
With starship millage what could go wrong :)

Agree with all thats said. Purely thinking to buy and sell. But enjoy it a bit.

My question should have been, "would you say its a sellable car"

Mottie already saying its a gamble. But Id be foolish not to explore the idea.

I have a BMW convertible, 1 series. It drives better than my Merc, handles well. You can always buy a warranty if you feel the need. If it has full dealership service history and no faults showing it must be worth a punt.
