Hi all,

Sorry if this is a stupid question but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have "inherited" a Kguard SHA 104 system which is working perfectly. Unfortunately to run the cables from the cameras to the unit I had to snip the cable before the split for power and video. I am now ready to re connect the cable bot find that along with the red power and yellow video there is what seems to be a common un-sheathed copper supply running as well.

Quest is do both poer and video require this cable or just power or video?

Also I may need to use new BNC connectors and if they require both the yellow and the bare core copper wire, which go where in the BNC ?

Hope this is clear.

The yellow will be video so goes to centre of bnc connector
Bare copper will be ground(ov) to outer of bnc
Post photo of existing connectors

Thanks for the reply, heres a pic of the old BNC. So bare wire goes to both video and power
