WC floor has lino and undulating floorboards. It also is vaguely sloping by 10mm across its 900mm width (long story, historic and permanent deflection, now propped with rsj)

Anyhow, swapping toilet tomorrow so good time to lay some ply over the floor boards and smooth it out.

1) how thick does the ply need to be? Not tiling the floor
2) suggestions about how to deal with the slope? Tempted to leave it. Although any clever ideas for a suitable packing material to bring it level?

Wc is 900x1700

You could always build up to approximate level by adding strips of 3 or 4mm plywood in decreasing width steps to get the extra height fto make it more or less level. Then overboard with 6mm plywood screwed down on 100 to 150mm centres. Lastly use a self levelling compound to get it flat
