Boarding garage ceiling with room anove

i removed some asbestos boards from garage and need to board the garage ceiling (it has a room above) I need to board them up.

1) can i use 12.5 pink plasterboard?

2) Can I insulate the ceiling with left over rock wool and cavity insulation.

3) I have pipes running up to them. How do I fill the gaps. Or is it just a case of cutting plasterboard correctly.

What size board 12.5 or 15

12.5 says part b of fire regs
15 says above and up to 60minutes.

If I use tapered edge board should I seal edges then use tape and easifill?

12.5mm would be OK, but 15mm if you wish.
Taping the joints, to achieve maximum protection, I personally would, unsure if it is required to achieve any standards required under building controls.
