Hi my central heating boiler which is a glowworm compliheat fuel saver 30. this runs only my central heating has been there i would say over 10 years, i had it running last night as it was quite cold and when i got up the heating was off and was making a buzzing sound, i switched it of and on and then it blew the 3amp fuse in the plug has anyone got any ideas what could be causing this, to be honest it did sound a bit lumpy when running

i would appreciate your answers
thanks

Frozen   :(

whats the best way to find out its the pump, i changed the fuse a couple of times and when i switched it on i got a buzzing/grinding electrial noise from the direction of the pump but how can i proper diagnose it

many thanks

if it helps on my diagnostic pcb light 1 is lit (live feed/fuse) i replaced the fuse just now and the light is still lit and its still buzzing but not blowing the fuse anymore? the c/h has been off all day and is cold but after i left this buzzing for say 20 seconds trying to find where the noise is coming from i noticed the housing of the red grundsford pump was getting warm, would you put your money on the pump being seized?
