I've got a Britony Combi SE boiler that has a problem.
Hot water is fine, works perfectly.
Pressure is in the middle of the gauge (2bar+).
When central heating is demanded the boiler does nothing, no error shown on the display and is completely silent.
I have a service manual for it and have done a little reading, what should happen is two solenoid valves should open to allow gas to the burner. I don't think this is happening, but the valves are also used by the hot water side so are presumably not defective.
Has anyone got any suggestions on how I can determine where the fault lies ? At the moment I'm thinking it is possibly the PCB ? on the basis if that never initiates the sequence to start the boiler it wont go.
Edit: Although I had checked it out I've got doubts over the room thermostat working properly. I've just reset it (its a programmable one) and added new batteries and it appears to be behaving..
