hiya just alittle worry. right got a combi glowworm compact 80p when theboiler is firing up u can normally hear it click then firing.but as recent u can hear it click and then not firing up but wen i looked it has fired up. and then sometimes u cant hear it click and u can hear it firing up am i being silly here or is something wrong many thnxs

sometimes it clicks and fires up
sometimes it fires up without clicking
sometimes it clicks, or doesn't, but anyway doesn't fire
Could be a sticky gas valve, but to save a preemptive replacement which may not be correct or necessary, just keep watching it. Also listen for sparks (tick tick tick...) if you think it should be lighting. Does it ever "lock out"?
Hard to be certain with intermittent phenomena!
