Alpha Ocean 240e. About 2 mins into shower it goes cold. I hear boiler firing up and it runs hot for a bit then cuts out again. I recently replaced heat exchanger because that fixed it a few years ago.
Without being in front of it, we don't know, but it's quite likely your plate hex is clogged and unable to dissipate heat to the HW side,
Clean or replace plate hex.

If you turn the shower control to fully cold and full flow then (see if) the boiler should not fire up.
Turn on a few HW taps only and see does it continue to run.
Thanks kidgreen61. When I was replacing the heat exchanger I left the stop cock partially closed. Your post led me to look at that. Nice hot shower this morning.
