The drain pipe from the boiler comes out of the wall and runs straight down alongside the rainwater pipe into the yard drain. it looks really ugly and i wondered if i could tap this into the rainwater pipe to shorten the run from about 14 foot to a matter of inches? both pipes are plastic so would this be ok?

the rainwater goes directly into the back yard drain which goes directly into the sewers. the boiler drain pipe goes the same way as well. the rainwater pipe is about 3 inches or so in size the boiler pipe is just short of an inch in size. thanks
