All depends what happens underground if rainwater and soil go together then no problem, i live in third world yorkshire never been pulled by building control, infact given permission by bc when built house extension, got grief making a soakaway in front garden though suppose to inform water authority who calculate roofspace using soakaway then say if its allowed or not May not be allowed in derbyshire but i bet a tenner could drive into derby and see within minutes a sink,bath or shower waste thrown into a rainwater hopper.
I agree it's done everywhere. Doesnt make it right though.
Been knocked back a few times in Manchester areas so maybe they a bit more lenient it Yorkshire!!!
