I have MAIN condensing 18HE boiler installed.3 amp Fuse fitted in the boiler is keep blowing.I have told is that ''only 170ohms between pump line and earth causing fue to blow'' .Has any body got idea what it is?
Fuse is fitted internally in the boiler.Installers who put new boiler, new cable from pump to boiler and valve, they came and checked.they advised me that it is the faulty timer.they replaced timer/programmer and room thermostat. After that it worked for 7 days .After 7 days fuse was again blown with pop/bang in the boiler.Installers again came and advised me that there is problem with boiler.today boiler manufacturers came and checked and they told me the problem which i have mentioned in my first thread.
Most onboard fuses on the pcb are rated at approx 2 amp. 3 amp is for the fused spur.
Turn off power to ch and remove the switched live from the wiring center/programmer and make safe.
Insert link between boiler permanent live and switched live. (Only if boiler accepts 240VAC from external controls). This will eliminate everything but the boiler.
