Hi

Hope you can help, I have a Potterton Prima F boiler and a Danfoss 103 timer, I think they are original from new, 12 years ago, i had the boiler serviced two months ago and all fine. Two days ago I noticed the boler has stopped turning off via the timer, it ignores it basically, if i turn the boiler off by the switch on the side of the timer, the timer / off / constant button, this works fine, I'm no expert by far but is this a timer problem, is it an easy fix and can i upgrade to a digital timer?

Happy New Year!

If you have no other controls on your system, then it would appear to point to a faulty timer.

These are still available for an easy 'plug in' replacement, but you can easily change to a digital one if you wish.

On the other hand if you have a motor valve then that is likely to be at fault.
