My Worcester 24CDi Combi boiler now keeps clicking on and off all the time, to stop this I have to move the central heating temperature control knob forward a little bit. Is this anything to do with the boiler short cycling (got this from the manual) or could it be anything else?

probably frost protection. they will come on when it gets below a certain temp (think its 10 degrees or somthing, higher than you would think) and circulates some heat to stop itself getting too cold.

Customer of mine had it and it was caused when taps were shut suddenly. Causing shock in the cold water feed to the boiler and flow switch.

Hi all,

Frost protection maybe, is it in a garage or uninsulated room, is there a hot leaky tap just say dripping also?
