I wonder if anyone can help regarding this- recently the boiler in my flat keeps going into lock-out mode whereby the hot water doesn't start & it prevents the heating from coming on.
It is easily sorted by resetting the button but obviously annoying if you've been out & come back to a freezing home which should have been nicely warming up, due to the lock out mode kicking in.
Is this problem easily remedied or is it a sign of something more ominous?
It has happened every now and then, but now it's every day- the boiler did not come on this morning as set, had to reset the lock-out button & finally turn the whole thing off briefly to get the heating going.
The boiler is about 5 years old, has been working fine since about Nov when I turned the heating on,
