boiler not firing - no hot water and people coming tonight

we have just put a towel rail in the bathroom
drained the system and when I have come to put the heating/water on
the boiler a baxi won't fire up
can anybody help please
I have people coming for a bbq and we have no hot water and the way
the weather is here we will need the heating on.

how did you fill it. where is boiler , cyl , pump etc.

yes attempts to fire, pilot light is on

hot water tank in loft, the boiler is in the downstairs toilet,
the pump is that a manifold? is in the bathroom under the floor

if the system was drained down to fit towel rail then suspect you will need to fill and get rid of any air locks

bleed system from lowest vent point and work your way up to highest.

if you have motorised valve you should manually lock it open until bleed air from system finished.

the value is'nt motorised have bleed the radiators party went well great
hang over now no water to wash up.
