Boiler not firing up..

Hi
I have a Baxi combi
The Boiler does not fire up when i turn on the hot tap in the kitchen (which is situated right next to the boiler) However the Bathroom Hot tap and central heating works fine
This only occurs intermitently so I have to go to the bathroom tap, turn on then off then go back to the kitchen tap and IT WORKS
Any ideas...
