Hi All...
I have an elderly Glow worm CH Boiler, which is still reliable, combined with a Honeywell ST9400C Controller, which controls the hot water and CH from my split tank upstairs. My problem is that since the tank was replaced almost a month ago, the hot water is indeed being heated, but my CH is NOT cutting in as per its programme. Although it usually does cut in on one programme at 7PM, for me to get in to a warm home at 8PM after work, it follows its programmed times, but I get no heating. Or it cuts in and the rads go just off cold... Could this possibly be a fault with the controller or the three-way valve upstairs? Can someone help pls ? I dont want to waste a Hundred Quid on a controller I dont need.
I did advertise my job on rated people.com but the 250 boiler people who looked at it refused to do it ! so is it such a simple job that they cant make money on ? yours shiveringly !
