boiler overflow pipe

I know i shouldn't but when i saw that picture i laughed, that is disgusting and a disgrace,

Ok, my error, I didn't ask for any id or papers because I trusted my landlord to send some one who could do the job! And he has since shouted at me :(
 
why has he shouted at you when he has employed an illegal gas insaller ( I'm guessing Illegal based on the picture ) who has carried out an unsafe illegal installation

well all I can say is i'm not looking forward to tomorrow when he comes back to put it right, but don't have a lot of choice, and yes I would probably laugh if it happened to anyone else!!
