i have a redfyre centamatic p40 oil fired boiler & need a new igniter dous any one have a box full in there attic or know where i can get one from. i know they are as rare as hen teeth, but you never know. this is pretty urgent as i have a polar bear kipping down in the living room as its so cold.

I suggest you snuggle up against the polar bear for warmth as that may be the closest you are going to get to any heat before you replace the boiler.
If you could take a photo of the igniter unit and quote exactly what is written on it then someone may have one as these things are often used on more than one appliance.
It may well be possible to fit a unit from another model to replace yours.
What does your local OFTEC say or dont you pay for servicing/repairs?
