Boiler power switch will not switch off??

Trying to wire up a roomstat to a Greenstar combi boiler i fused the small internal fuse until i got it right.
The stat now works and the boiler works but the power switch on the boiler remains on even when i turn it off.I have to turn off the power at the spur.

Any idea how this happens?

Probably fried the board with your repeated attempts at wiring or you still have not wired it right
