Hi All,
Our 5 year old DWF614 died - probably during the drying cycle as there was not any water remaining. The machine will not now switch on. I have checked the fuse in the FCU (OK) and power is present on the switched side of the power switch when the on/off button is pushed in. Despite there being power the On/Off indicator LED remains unlit and the LCD indicator panel remains unlit.
Anyone any ideas?
TIA
Kevin

Does the power indicator light feed come from the switch or the PCB, if the PCB I would start suspecting a board or connection failure between the switch and board.

Did you have 240 volt both sides of the on off switch (is it single or double pole)

Hi
Incoming 240V are colour coded Red(Live) & White(Neutral). There are no red or white connections to the two small pcbs in the front top of the door; there is one three pole connector to the pcb with the Option buttons (4->half load/eco/delay/pause) and the LCD display. This is connected to the left hand PCB that services the program selection buttons (5-> rinse/glass/bio/hot/power) by an eight core ribbon cable linked to the left hand pcb. I assume therefore that the Power on/off LED is powered from the PCB.

It is a double pole switch and is switching both live and neutral correctly.
Thanks
Kevin
