My boiler only runs when it is on its higher settings, it settings are from 1 to 6 (doesn't mean alot to me but you trade guys probally know). When the boiler is turned down to 3 it switches off, i guess that it is a faulty thermostat or something but i dont really know. Sorry for being so vauge but i am not a plumber.
What do you guys reckon? Does it sound like the boiler is faulty?
Or could it be something else with the central heating?
I ask because the boiler is under a 12 month service contract, but if its not the boiler and its the central heating then the service contract guys wont be able to fix the problem (i cant afford to pay them not to fix it). So do i need a corgi central heating plumber or the service contract people?
Sorry if i didn't make a lot of sense.
