Boiler problem

My boiler is doing my head in when the CH is on the boiler continually starts and stops.It fires up, runs for 55 seconds then stops for 40 seconds then runs for 55 seconds then stops for 40 seconds and so on CONTINUOUSLY!!!!!

It is a Glow worm energysaver balanced flue boiler anyone any ideas why it is doing this

what does it do on hot water? do you have the high/low selector switch on this model? (some had it some didn't) if so does it do it on high and low?

On hot water it runs normally it only does it when CH is on.

No it doesn't have the high and low switch.

I have exactly the same problem with my Radiant midi combination boiler. Works OK on hot water but not with central heating. The pilot goes out, relights every 2 seconds for about 30 mins. Works ok for 5 mins and then back to relighting. 2 corgi engineers can't work it out. Have e-mailed Radiant customer service, but no reply.

The constant whoosh as the pilot relights is driving me mad. Someone please help.
