Hi there

I am hoping someone can help or advise me.

I don't seem to have any heating or hot water. My lights on the control panel where you set the times and swtich on the hot water and heating are on, my pilot light in my boiler seems to be on but it does not seem to be generating any heat through the hot water or radiators.

My boiler is pretty old but you told me it is a great boiler. I am very reluctant to change it especially as I am currently going through a compulsory purchase with the council who are going to knock my house down to build a health centre. Can you advise me how to rectify the problem and if I can't do it myself, would you be able to look at it for me or advise me of someone who can. Because of it's age it is difficult to find anyone to come out to have a look.

The make and model of my boiler is Ideal Mexian Slimline 2 Model RS55. I believe these were last made in the 1980's so is over 20 years old.

Thermostats turned up?

If so then it cold be a diverter/zone valve fault; or a gas valve fault. But with the sparse information provided it is impossible to say.
