hi can anybody give me some advice ,I have a MYSON VELAIRE oil boiler and when it starts up it makes a juddering noise then it fires up but i got a smell of oil after and when its running now and again it still makes a noise any help very helpfull thanks

Without a Flue Gas Analyser and an oil pressure gauge, there is not a lot you will do with this one, It is time to get a good oil engineer in,
the boiler may be blocked with soot,, or the nozzle may be failing or the oil filter blocked, but without being in front of the boiler it is impossible to guess!
