i have an ariston combi boiler that i have to top the pressure up on every now and then, the pressure gauge has dropped to 0 and nothing is happening when i release the valves to try to top up the pressure, can someone help with this :?:

IS water flowing through the loop (silver braided pipe) when you do what should open the valves? I guess that it isn't because the plastic top of one of the isolation valves no longer turns the metal bit. Solution to that would be to remove said plastic and use a small spanner.

If it's tha gauge that's bust, the boiler would start up OK - the pressure switch isn't connected to the gauge.

thanks very much for your help, its was that the valves needed turning by spanner, saved me getting a plumber out, thank you  :D
