Hello all,
I have just moved into a new house and it currently has a vintage oil boiler that costs a fortune to run and is properly clapped out, my question is.....
Am I being stupid by thinking I would be better off to get a multifuel boiler stove to run a majority of my central heating needs and have an electric boiler as a top up should I need it.
My girlfriend and I both work from home so loading it would not be a real problem.
There is no mains gas in the village and thought a boiler stove would be simple to plumb in the existing area as there is a large chimney and all asociated pipework etc..
Thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
