Boiler timer powers on

But does not keep time JUST stays in one time .is there a replacabke battery in the unit or dos timer need replacing .
I know boiler controls heating and water so am i right to say it is a combi boiler.
I will give picture of existing timer

That timer takes its power from the boiler pcb those timers are very unreliable

As long as they are the same size then yes but be aware that not all inbuilt timers are the same size even though that one says that it is universal, they are not all the same
 
I noticed this one takes flat battery is this still right one .

I mean watch type battery or am i wrong in this .
 
Hi thanks for the help if i just buy a salus rt500 thermostat will this work with ferroli boiler .my existing one is just a simple dial one but has stoped working
 
your existing one is faulty and you cant change the battery, you can fit any external control that you like as long as it is done properly, wouldnt recommend the Salus RT500 they are not very reliable either
