got trouble with my heating syterm it lights up fine and boiler kicks in but wont turn off i can turn the power off and the boiler still stay alight the systrem is potterton flamingo 50s with a 3 port valve lp522 programer grufus pump think it coud be 3 port valve but not sure and dont want to pay out for something not needed thanks paul

Sounds like your 3 port valve is sticking try turning the heating off and seeing if the valve closes!
