Anyone recomend any books on boiler control wiring and fault finding

ie pumps stats valves etc, NOT the boiler internal wiring

Have got stuff from the honeywell site, but would like a bit more
Thanks

Boiler wiring is so simple.

A switch tells a boiler in needs heat.

The switch is a time clock or a thermostat.

The switch or thermostat turns on a motorised valve which switches the feed to the boiler.

The boiler turns on, on demand. It may need a permanent feed so it runs on, to take out all the heat, when the request for heat is satisfied.

Once you have wired one you can wire them all.

You would be more cost effective purchasing a programmerr and valve, both of which have circuit diagrams and colour codings and set up a demo board.

Agree
Picked up the basics just from the diagrams on honeywell site, and reading old posts and it dont look to complex.

Its more to learn fault finding as I want to move on to more complex zoned systems , in pubs etc
Where the wirings a mess and no panel drawings

Going on a course but want to read up a bit more first.

Asked on the plumbing forum once about pump wiring
and got shot down.
