hi all

i have a problem my boilermate 2000 BM 185, it is showing a PHE_T2 sensor error, can anyone suggest what i can do to fix it and how to do it.
What will i have to buy in order for this problem to be fixed?

and by fixing this will i get hot water?

also the HOT supply to taps pipe at the bottom of my boiler mate is cool, will it also fix this?

thank you

T1 sensor usually goes before the T2 sensor so I recommend you renew them both at the same time. They are both the same part and the cheapest place to get them is direct from gledhill. About £25 a pop or more from a trade supplier.
They consist of a white wire with a sensor that is in contact with the water.
Part number GT153 [GC number E26 024]

You are dealing with 3 different bodies of water

T1 is in the mains water so turn your mains stoptap off for that one.
T2 If I am not mistaken is in the thermal store water. There should be a drain point there if you follow the pipe down below the pump on the right. If you drain off here you cant go wrong.
The other body of water which you wont need to drain off for this is the central heating.

T1 connects to 33 34 and 35 on the ACB
T2 connects to 32 31 and 29

Wrap some ptfe tape round the threads before you put the new ones in.

You are a clever lad to suss this much out so please don't let me down and make a balls up of it. Normally I would say it might be a bit much for a DIYer so if you happen to have any doubts get someone in who is familiar.
