Why has my post stating he is Drdrivel/bigburner been removed?

Since when has fact been abusive needing to be moderated?

Mod11, you need to get your facts straight before removing posts

but looking at the referenced article I can't see that it sheds any light on the efficiency of BenBag's Boilermate

Both are thermal stores. If it has a DHW plate heat exchanger it will be even more efficient.

So what you're saying Drivel, is a thermal sludge bucket is superior and more efficient

But not necessarily :D :D

The study shows thermal storage is superior and more efficient. It will be more efficient in the flat as well.
Nonsense

the study relates to central heating in a school

it is fanciful to believe that the results transfer to hot water service in a small flat.

It scales up and down. In this case, a thermal store with and eco function for summer DHW would have been a bonus. If the store is using a DHW plate heat exchanger, he only needs the store on a for a few minutes, which could be a 5 or 10 minute timer. It is not worth makers doing this as combis have stolen the market for flats. Above flats thermals stores make great sense.

Note the findings. 60% less boiler kW, so massive savings. You hook up a 8 to 10kW boiler and it will do a pretty large house using a store. At least 16% energy savings.

You forgot to answer George, aka Bigburner, aka DrDrivel, Aka Watersystems

george drivel has a temper doesn't he?!

Apologise to david george; he's a school boy you senile old fool.

maybe he's george bramwell evens, the ***** lol. That will explain his fascination with heating systems...all that copper mmm

Drdrivel has gone back to his usual cut and paste routine

He has clearly absconded from his care home and been without his medication for a few days, judging by his latest outbursts

I've never seen water systems/dr drivel resort to that type of language.

George Branmwell-Dickhead

If that was really your name Drivel you should be able to spell it.
