I need to repair sections of a bathroom wall - photo below.
The middle section is bonding coat, and the top is render.

Which would be best to use before a plaster coat to even up the wall before tiling.
(bearing in mind parts of some of the bricks have broken away, so quite deep filling is required)
Bonding plaster or render?

Cheers in advance.

by an large we sand an lime render all masonry walls in bathrooms an use backer board on any studdin.

that looks to be an old house with that tie-in/bondin beam an the high ceilin.
check the wood for rot an use 2 coats of SBR or even Pva an lots of jointin tape over it.
stop your render 30 - 40mm short of the floor.
use plastic beads if required - not metal
