How soon after applying thistle bonding, can you plaster? whats the wait time?

also should you pva over plasterboard, or apply directly?

wait till it goes to the consistency of cheese.

you can plaster straight onto normal p/b

Skim as soon as set, around 1 ½ - 2 hours after you mixed it. If you let it dry out overnight it will suck like hell & you will then need to dose with PVA.

Normally skim directly onto the boards as long as they are fitted the right way around  ; but a dose of PVA won’t hurt it & will actually give you a little more time if inexperienced.
