I am fitting an electric shower. My home has direct mains water to all taps so it was easy to get to the clod water supply which runs under the bath.
I have T'd into the pipe then used speedfit elbows onto copper pipe. From the shower to the stop tap under the bath there are three lengths of copper pipe all with speed fit elbows.
Would each individual length need bonding or just the final piece that meets the shower. I aware that plastic connectors would provide insulation but with water flowing in hte pipe is this insulation not bypassed or am i just plain dumb on this subject.

By the way having only recently found this forum I must say congrats to all who regularily contribute and improve the knowledge of us all even if at times you cant agree among yourselves LOL.

Bond the length to the shower ,to the shower cable earth with 4.0mm eath cable and clamp.
Then at each joint cross bond the pipes across the joint using 4.0 mm earth cable and clamps, this should maintain the earth continuity of the copper pipe .Under the bath cross bond all copper pipes and the bath if metal.
The earth cables of all electrical circuits in bathroom zones 1,2and 3 need to be bonded to the copper pipe work, as well.
See the reference section at the top of the posts .
