Book recommendation please

I want to buy a book about the wiring regs, and I've got 3 candidates:

One by the man himself:

Commentary on IEE Wiring Regulations: BS7671 2001: Requirements for Electrical Installations Incl. Amendment No.1, 2002


One by a well known text-book author & C&G Chief Examiner:

IEE Wiring Regulations Explained and Illustrated: A Practical Guide to BS7671: 2001


And finally the old favourite of the TLC website:

The Electrician's Guide to the 16th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations BS7671


I would be interested in anybody's opinions for or against any of these.

I bought the middle one, I didn't find it the easiest book to get the regulations revealed. I haven't got a copy of the 16th edition, but I have the 15th edition, and that's easier to get information from IMO.

I aint read any of them above, but the Brian Scaddan books that I have read have been good......(he just seems to word them in a way what I can understand.....hmmmm simpleton)
