there is a border in my garden, i want to stop the weeds coming up, as i see it, i got 2 choices. one to put mot 1 down, and sand and cement over the top, or put that black screening stuff down and cover it with stones, is there a competent person out there who can either give me some advice or even give a better way of doing it.

i dont get the mot sand and cement bit? are you saying that you want to concrete around every plant in your border to prevent weeds?

no munching, it is just a border with no plants, it runs between 2 properties at the front, i just want to stop anything growing there forever, should i treat the ground first as i have got rid of all the weeds, but you know sometimes they are still there waiting to grow.
