Boris Johnson : Let the Bodies pile high in their thousands

Please tell us the last minister to be found out and jailed for taking kickbacks worth millions or billions if the system is as bad as you say.
You can't be jailed simply for ripping off taxpayers and breaking ministerial code. Obeying the rules takes honesty, integrity and a smidgen of self respect. The current greedy Tory cabinet are woefully bereft of such qualities.
Our current PM is renowned for lying FFS.

He (Dom Cummings) tweeted over the weekend that the failure to introduce travel bans more quickly was ‘a very important issue re: learning from the disaster - this coming from the person who broke covid rules and then made up some long winded fake story

He's 100% correct though. The real bad aspect though is mask wearing but what else could they do - where would they come from but they appeared to see that they were only for preventing infection rather than preventing people with it from spreading it.

Not quite what was claimed in post #8 is it FFS! "One of the most corrupt goverments around!" I can think of plenty a lot worse as can you no doubt.

Sounds like they are trying to divert things to Cummins to me ;) and from a few posts it's working. He has made a bit of a statement

https://dominiccummings.com/

As usual sleaze and Tory smell implications. Some ones friend might be shown to have done something they shouldn't.

The Daily Mail article isn't a bad run down one what happens when gov vacillates and arses about with a problem like covid. Lock downs get longer than they need to have been. The medical lot come up with softer options to placate them. Nuts like May look at predictions they have asked for and say some of these numbers are rather large. Essentially not what she wants to see. We are largely being governed by a load of born to lead dildos that know very little about all sorts of things. ;) Which in some respects matches Cummins's view of them. They need to employ people to tell them what to do.

Government cannot work with out confidentiality

Constant leaks

private conversations taped

jeez us

the UK is getting more like France every day

low standards , lack of integrity

back handers

cronyism

Yes, Minister.

Yes saying yes when they should say no or hang on a minute it's not as simple as that.

The other sleaze is peppering senior civil servant positions with ERG yobs. Nice well paid jobs for the faithful.

Mobile phones should not be allowed into cabinet meetings or other sensitive government meetings

blimey even corbyn had a private
( so he thought) conversation with that Hodge and it gets recorded

any one leaking cabinet discussions irrespective of which party is in office should be guilty of a criminal offence

5 years in side no exceptions
No parole

Johnson would not be PM as he would probably still be serving his sentence

Most of the French government would be banged up as well

Revealed: how the UK’s powerful right-wing think tanks and Conservative MPs work together
The Institute of Economic Affairs, accused of offering US donors access to government ministers, is among right-wing think tanks meeting monthly. Conservative MPs have attended, too.
