A rudimentary search on google suggests water may have reached the PCB.
You could try holding the start button for 3-5 seconds, while the PCB is on and all lights are illuminated.
Failing that, try having a look at the PCB for any water ingress.

Had some gremlins in my Indesit dishwasher for years; it would switch on only after pulling the plug out for 5 mins and then if you switched it off, it would never switch on again until the plug was pulled again. Right ballache considering where the plug was (it was easier to turn the entire ring off)
Eventually got around to pulling it apart and found that where the door met the body, the constant flexing of the wire bundle there had broken one of the wires. Soldered up, reinforced and sharp adjacent edges smoothed off and all is now well again .. check for similar in yours?

Check you have not accidentally turned on the child lock feature .
Cash in some premium bonds and treat yourself to a new one.
Is there any manufacturers warranty? 2 years is a short life for an appliance.
Sadly Bosch are not producing quality products any more.
We replaced our 10 year old one with a Beco and registered it for the 5 year warranty as advised by my local appliance specialist
Needs to be fit for purpose and last a reasonable amount of time . (2015 consumer act .)

The consumer needs to prove the fault existed at delivery if it happens after 6 months of purchase of course. Which might be difficult.
No they don’t . Have made many claims at 4-5 years .

Good for you, seriously. That's not what the legislation says though, maybe not worth the manufacturer's time and effort.
